Indications for use
Bovine
Treatment and metaphylaxis of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni and Mycoplasma bovis susceptible to tulathromycin.
Treatment of infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) associated with Moraxella bovis susceptible to tulathromycin.
Swine
Treatment and metaphylaxis of swine respiratory diseases (SRD) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Haemophilus parasuis and Bordetella bronchiseptica susceptible to tulathromycin.
This veterinary medicinal product should only be used if pigs are expected to develop the disease within 2-3 days.
Sheep
Treatment of early stages of infectious foot rot (pododermatitis) associated with virulent Dichelobacter nodosus requiring systemic treatment.
The presence of the disease in the group should be established before using the veterinary medicinal product.
Posology and administration via
Cattle
Subcutaneous route. A single subcutaneous injection of 1 ml of the veterinary medicinal product / 40 kg b.w.
For the treatment of cattle with a live weight greater than 300 kg, divide the dose so that no more than 7.5 ml is injected at the same injection site.
Swine
Intramuscular route. A single intramuscular injection of 1 ml of the veterinary medicinal product / 40 kg b.w. in the neck.
For the treatment of swine with a live weight greater than 80 kg, divide the dose so that no more than 2 ml is injected at the same injection site.
Sheep
Intramuscular route. A single intramuscular injection of 1 ml of the veterinary medicinal product / 40 kg b.w. in the neck.
Withdrawal periods
Cattle
Meat: 22 days.
Pigs
Meat: 13 days.
Sheep
Meat: 16 days.
Not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
