Composition

Composition per ml.:

Spectinomycin (sulphate)

100 mg

Lincomycin (hydrochloride)

50 mg

Indications for use

Treatment of infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to the combination of lincomycin and spectinomycin:

Cattle

Pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma spp.

Pigs

Swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae
Enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.

Sheep

Pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma spp.
Infectious pododermatitis (foot rot) caused by Dichelobacter nodosus and Fusobacterium necrophorum.

Posology and administration via

Cattle and pigs

2 ml of medicine/10 kg b.w./day for 3-5 consecutive days.

Sheep:

  • Foot root disease: 1 ml of medicine/10 kg b.w. in a single dose.
  • Pneumonia: 2 ml of medicine/10 kg b.w./day for 3-5 consecutive days.

    Intramuscular route.

Withdrawal periods

Cattle, pigs and sheep

Meat: 21 days
Milk: do not use
