Indications for use
Chickens
Treatment and metaphylaxis of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and airsacculitis caused by strains of Mycoplasma gallisepticum sensitive to tiamulin.
Turkeys
Treatment and metaphylaxis of infectious sinusitis and airsacculitis caused by strains of Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma meleagridis sensitive to tiamulin.
Pigs
For the treatment of porcine haemorrhagic diarrhoea caused by strains of Brachyspira hyodysenteriae sensitive to tiamulin. For the treatment of pleuropneumonia caused by strains of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae sensitive to tiamulin. For the treatment of enzootic pneumonia caused by strains of M. hyopneumoniae sensitive to tiamulin.
Before using the veterinary medicinal product, the presence of the disease in the herd must be established.

Posology and administration via
Oral administration in drinking water.
Chickens
(broilers, replacement pullets, breeding chickens and laying hens
).
- Treatment and prevention of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sacculitis caused by M. gallisepticum.
Dosage: 20 mg of tiamulin base/kg body weight/day, equivalent to 24.7 mg of tiamulin hydrogen fumarate/kg body weight/day; equivalent to 0.197 ml of the medicinal product/kg body weight/day, for 3–5 days.
Turkeys
(broiler turkeys and breeding turkeys):
- Treatment and prevention of infectious sinusitis and aerosacculitis caused by M. gallisepticum and M. meleagridis.
Dosage: 20 mg of tiamulin base/kg body weight/day, equivalent to 24.7 mg of
tiamulin hydrogen fumarate/kg body weight/day, equivalent to 0.197 ml of the medicinal product/kg body weight/day, for 3–5 days.
The dose for poultry is normally achieved by adding 1 ml of CENAMUTIN 125 mg/ml
ORAL SOLUTION per litre of drinking water. The dose should not exceed 250 mg of
tiamulin base per litre of drinking water due to palatability, thus preventing the birds from reducing their water intake.
Swine
- Treatment of swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae.
Dosage: 8.8 mg of tiamulin base/kg body weight/day, equivalent to 10.87 mg of tiamulin hydrogen fumarate/kg body weight/day, equivalent to 0.086 ml of the medicinal product/kg body weight/ day, for 3–5 consecutive days depending on the severity of the infection and/or the duration of the illness.
- Treatment of enzootic pneumonia caused by M. hyopneumoniae.
Dosage: 15.0–20.0 mg of tiamulin base/kg body weight/day, equivalent to 18.53–24.7 mg of tiamulin hydrogen fumarate/kg body weight/day; equivalent to 0.148–0.197 ml of the medication/kg body weight/day for 5–10 consecutive days.
- Treatment of pleuropneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae.
Dosage: 20 mg of tiamulin base/kg body weight/day, equivalent to 24.7 mg of tiamulin hydrogen fumarate/kg body weight/day; equivalent to 0.197 ml of the medicinal product/kg body weight/day, for 5 consecutive days.
