Indications for use
Treatment of the following infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to tylosin:
Poultry
Broiler chickens: Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and airsacculitis.
Broiler turkeys: Infectious sinusitis.
Pigs
Diarrhoea caused by susceptible organisms. For information regarding swine dysentery.
Cattle
Suckling calves: Pneumonia associated with mycoplasma and pasteurella.

Posology and administration via
Broiler chickens and turkeys
100,000 IU of tylosin tartrate per kg body weight, equivalent to 100 mg of the drug per kg body weight for 2–5 days.
Pigs
25,000 IU of tylosin tartrate per kg body weight, equivalent to 25 mg of medicine per kg body weight for 3–5 days.
Suckling calves
20,000 IU of tylosin tartrate / kg body weight, equivalent to 20 mg of medicine / kg body weight dissolved in water or milk. Administer twice daily for 5–7 days.
Withdrawal periods
Chickens and turkeys
Meat: 5 days.
Suckling calves
Meat: 21 days
Pigs
Meat: 3 days
