Indications for use
Treatment and metaphylaxis of swine respiratory disease caused by:
Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida that are susceptible to florfenicol.
The presence of the disease in the herd must be confirmed prior to
metaphylaxis.
Posology and administration via

The recommended daily dose is 10 mg of florfenicol per kg of body weight, equivalent to 5 ml of the medicine per 100 kg body weight, for 5 consecutive days.

Remarks
During treatment, a slight reduction in water intake,
dark brown stools and constipation may be observed in the animals.
Occasionally, perianal erythema and softening of the stools may occur when
the veterinary medicinal product is used. These effects are temporary and do not affect the animal’s general condition.
In some of the affected animals, rectal prolapse may be observed, which resolves without treatment.
