Indications for use
Cattle
Treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by Histophilus somni, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma spp. susceptible to enrofloxacin, as well as for the treatment of colimastitis.
Swine
Treatment of bacterial bronchopneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Haemophilus parasuis and Pasteurella multocida susceptible to enrofloxacin.

Posology and administration via
Cattle
-The dose for respiratory diseases is 7.5 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight (bw) for a single subcutaneous (sc) administration. This is equivalent to 7.5 ml of veterinary medicine per 100 kg bw per day.
Do not administer more than 15 ml (cattle) or 7.5 ml (calves) at a single subcutaneous injection site.
In cases of severe or chronic respiratory diseases, a second injection may be necessary 48 hours later.
-The dose for the treatment of colimastitis is 5 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight (bw) administered intravenously (iv). This is equivalent to 5 ml of veterinary medicine per 100 kg bw per day.
Treatment of colimastitis is exclusively by intravenous route for 2 to 3 consecutive days.
Swine
The dose for respiratory diseases is 7.5 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight for a single treatment. This is equivalent to 0.75 ml of veterinary medicine per 10 kg body weight per day.
Do not administer more than 7.5 ml at a single injection site (intramuscular).
In the case of severe or chronic respiratory diseases, a second injection may be necessary 48 hours later.

Intramuscular injection into the neck muscles, behind the ear.

Remarks
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Do not use in animals with central nervous system disorders such as epilepsy, with disorders of
cartilage growth, or with damage to the musculoskeletal system involving joints
subject to heavy functional stress or weight-bearing joints.
Do not use in cases of known resistance to other fluoroquinolones, as there is
cross-resistance to these.
