Composition
Composition per ml:
- Chlorhexidine (digluconate) 20 mg.
- Glycerine 50 mg.
- Surfactants and excipients q.s.
Indications for use
Dermocen gel is a dermatological solution formulated with glycerine and surfactants (skin protectants) and chlorhexidine (an antiseptic with bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties).
Dermocen gel is an excellent bactericidal (Escherichia coli,
Streptococcus spp, Staphylococcus aureus, etc.), fungicidal (Candida albicans) and virucidal antiseptic.
Diseases
Pigs:
Skin sanitiser for animals. Disinfection of healthy skin.
Maintenance of the physiological condition of healthy skin. Prevention of skin infections.
Prevention of MMA in post-farrowing sows.
Adjuvant treatment for staphylococcal dermatitis in piglets.
Posology and administration via
Topical use with sprayers or foam guns.
Apply the product, diluted to 5–10% in water, to the skin of the animals to be treated. Foam guns increase the effectiveness of the treatment compared to sprayers.
Apply the maximum dose to animals with heavily soiled skin and visible wounds.
Do not rinse the product off with water.
Repeat every 12–24 hours depending on the severity and progression of the condition.
