Indications for use
To treat infections caused by the following bacteria sensitive to doxycycline:
Swine
Fattening pigs: Treatment of infectious processes included within the porcine respiratory complex, caused by microorganisms sensitive to doxycycline such as Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
Chickens
Broiler chickens: to treat colibacillosis and chronic respiratory syndrome caused by Escherichia coli and Mycoplasma gallisepticum, respectively.
Cattle
Pre-ruminant calves: respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible species, such as Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica.

Posology and administration via
Chickens
15 mg of doxycycline/kg b.w./day for 3–5 days, equivalent to 30 mg of the drug/kg b.w./day
Pigs
10 mg of doxycycline/kg b.w./day, for 3-5 days, equivalent to 0.2 g of medication/10 kg b.w./day.
Pre-ruminant calves
10 mg of doxycycline/kg b.w./day, equivalent to 0.2 g of medication/10 kg b.w./day for 5 days.
Administer orally in drinking water or milk.
